I miss Alamo Drafthouse. Since this place has taken ownership it has been going downhill. It used to be a place where I could spend two hours away from the distractions of life and enjoy great movies. Now they have ads in between the trailers! The last straw was their new QR code ordering on your phone. I don't like the distraction of a bright screen in the corner of my eye because someone wants a refill. They even had the audacity to say "no talking or texting" before the movie. Don't pretend you care, it's obvious you don't.Also the food is mediocre, mostly reheated frozen food. Take your money elsewhere. I sure will be.

Love the theater but the new payment system has many fees they do not make you aware of when they ask you to use this service. I'll be back but I will not use the mobile tab again.

Awesome place. Went here for a matinee and the staff was great, I really enjoyed the food and drinks brought to my seat.

Warning ⚠️ Buyer Beware.I used to love this place when Cinematery did movie showings each week there. The management kicked them out & is still using their name to trick customers into watching movies at their place. I had to ask around to find out because I noticed the seats werent filling up for an event. That's pretty low & deceitful of the Majestic to do. As a patron I find that terrible service.I refunded my tickets & I won't be going back. Our community of people would have paid more to go here than other places just because they supported our community.I live down the street from this place & it's very convenient but i cant support that kind of behavior. It's disrespectful. I recommend going elsewhere too. If they'd publicly misrepresent their showings this long after. They'd do it to anyone.

Came here for the first time the other day, and the server informed me they’re “trying to move away from the order cards” and “really trying to push the online ordering”. At a…dine-in…MOVIE THEATER. Like, you’re really telling me you’re encouraging patrons to use their phones throughout the film?!I am not an old fogey. I am a twenty-something that loves movies and values cinema culture. And that’s why I probably won’t be back. I’m especially disappointed because of how much I loved the Alamo that existed in this location before the pandemic. Alamo was the BEST, and they did everything they could to preserve the movie magic! Instead, Majestic is peddling these ludicrous operating policies in a pathetic attempt to appeal to what is clearly just some boomer’s idea of “kids these days” instead of actual movie-loving customers. I really wanted to love it here, but I’m so disappointed.
